  1. The bike posted is a gravel bike so I’m guessing gravel vs MTB.

Arkansas has some great gravel Bentonville isn’t the epicenter of it. Bentonville is more bike park type trails but there is gravel.

From Mississippi I’d shoot for the Ouachitas or the eastern Ozarks (one is on the south side of I-40 the other the north side) . Good gravel starts as far east as Little Rock. You could also ride Crowley’s Ridge in eastern Arkansas.

Alabama and Georgia have good riding.

Tennessee, down by Chattanooga (Ocoee/Hiawasee area) has some phenomenal gravel.

10 hours can get you to a whole helluva lot of good trails. Maybe you could provide some context about what kind of trails and riding you’re looking for (Cruising flat dirt roads? Steep single track climbs?), how much time you’re planning to be there (Twenty-hour round trip plus time on the trail over a long weekend? Five-day bikepacking trip)?

A few years back I spent part of an autumn vacation riding in and around Hickman County, TN – home of the Gosh Darn Gravel Gathering – and that was a blast. Lots of varied options for terrain and distance. Roughly six hour’s drive from Jackson.

The Arkansas High Country Route would be my suggestion. 1,000 miles with 75,000 feet of climbing split over 3 connecting loops. There’s a piece of trail for everyone on the route.
