I think they are crank bolt covers. But also have seen dust cover and crank bolt cap

You’ll have better luck in vintage bike subreddits. This is a subreddit dedicated to questions with obvious answers that would have been quicker to look up in a search engine or manufacturer website.

Shimano’s part number was [#1892100](https://si.shimano.com/en/pdfs/ev/FC-7400-0681/EV-FC-7400-0681D.pdf); I just don’t think you’re gonna find one anymore, not a genuine one anyway. Any crank arm cap will fit, though, they all use the same threading; plenty of fun designs out there to choose from.

Call or email Ben’s Cycle in Milwaukee, they just bought Euro Asia Imports and will probably have them.
