That’s wild. They should offer you a new cockpit, bar tape and a compensation for fixing their mistake IMO.
Maybe in not understanding this…Just the little mark for the first 10mm is missing?

Canyon quality control is basically non-existent. Ask me how i know lol. And yeah, they have little to no interest in fixing things. I replaced my cranks on my brand new canyon at my own expense due to poor quality control.
