Not much of an upgrade from what you have now. If anything the Cervelo’s 6700 groupset shifts a bit worse than the groupset on your 2003 due to the extra shift cable drag from the complex bends with under-the-bartape cable routing. Shimano fixed that issue by moving to a longer shift cable pull to compensate for the extra drag when they introduced 11-speed and Tiagra 4700.
I’d save the money for a future bike purchase with all of the fancy stuff these days like hydraulic disc brakes and wider tire clearances etc. that would be a definite upgrade from what you have now.
I’m very wary of the integrated seat post frame. Also Cervelo has the very tight clearances for pure time trialing. Your current bike is more of an All round use road bike but still very fast.
Previous owner of this bike, can’t speak on the shifting since mine was 11 speed but the frame is a rocket, very stiff keeping up with modern bikes no problem. Biggest limitation was tire clearance, even 25MM were incredibly tight. If you’re only looking for speed, this frame is incredibly fast compared to it’s contemporaries but it’s gonna rattle you around.
