Friend of mine commented yesterday that the seatpost downtube looked bent. I was skeptical and thought it was a bit of an optical illusion. Put a straight edge next to it today and the tube isn't straight.
I can't imagine it came from the factory like that. Bike is over 15 years old, converted to electric two years ago.
I'm still having trouble believing a tube could bend like that, it should be one of the strongest elements in a triangulated frame! Metal fatigue? Time for a new bike?

Do you mean at the bottom of the seat tube where sweeps forward a bit to meet the bottom bracket?
I do not think it is bent

This is probably a better view of what I’m looking at. Gap at the bottom of my straight edge.
Some aluminum frames warp a little bit during heat treatment. I wouldn’t worry about it unless you see actual damage.
I don’t see any wrinkles or dents.
Looks nice and strong.
Keep sending it.
Yeah I think you have ,doesn’t surprise me ,bafang mid drives can be hard on a frame .
It was never designed to have a motor attached to it. That motor puts too much strain on the frame.
