When we think of Death Valley, we sure don't think of water … but here's a recent photo from our Par on the Devil route, thanks to Jennifer Stevenson.

Here's the rest of her comment on the route: "The road is closed to cars due to November's flooding, and there is water in Lake Manly. The rangers told us it was not recommended, but that we were allowed to ride it. Absolutely incredible views and so nice to be car free, but so, so sandy. I highly recommend making a loop with Badwater Basin Rd to cut down on the sand riding. Badwater Basin is currently closed to cars, so it is a really peaceful ride. Definitely check the road conditions and forecast before attempting this route–there's a possibility of impassable mud in addition to the sand if it rains any more."

  1. How was the wind? God I can’t imagine how it feels to ride in DV, might have to put that on my bucket list

  2. Cool photos, you should try to really specify that this isn’t your photos or ride. Cool that a user did it but it’s wierd that you’re not explicitly saying it’s “not” yours.

    Anyway dirtyfreehub rules.
