Caught the train to the nearest station and rode the rest of the way. My bike, while not the perfect gravel bike, held up well. Had some pretty damn rough and rocky terrain in parts. But the weather was perfect, and the ride was a dream. I still had my bars set up in my commute position which I would change, but otherwise a lovely ride.

Good to see an old school bike without 50c tires. I think people feel they need a certain bike, groupset, or tire to get out and hit some dirt. Looks like a fun ride!
Fantastic ride. I envy the environment, everything here in the Netherlands is so organized, would love to have the rural opportunities you have.
Bike looks nice but you need to level the shifters parallel to the ground more or less, youโre hurting your wrists the way theyโre positioned now.
Ah, if only it would look like this here in December. ๐ Today we saw the blue sky for the first time in more than two weeks. And while there are people still riding… I do not have proper gear to not freeze but at the same time to not soak up myself in the sweat, and even if I had… It’s just not enjoyable with how gray it is outside now. ๐
Nonetheless, looks like a nice ride you did, and nice environment… And did I mention with the very elegant bicycle?๐
Old School Gios Cross bike? Fantastic!
