i want to convert this 700x30c tyre bike into a usable casual mtb. the rest of the parts are all good except the tyres. got it for a good price too. any tips on how I should do it? Stick some 29ers into the 700c rims? any input is greatly appreciated since Iām a newbie

Go to a bike shop and see if they’ll let you barrow a wheel with a tire like that on it to check. Usually it’s not a big deal and they’ll just pop one out of a bike they have and try it. If it works, pay them back by buying your new tires from them.
Looks like that bike is made for a 29×2,25 – so yes, 2,1 will fit no problem. You have lots of room so be brave š
Regarding rim widht if you have at least 19mm inner width a 2,1 tire fits well (and a 2,25 still but will be de upper limit)
The suntour xc fork will even fit 2,4 tires š
