Ritchey-inspired seatpost coupler with Z-coupler on downtube. Fits nicely into European train luggage racks.

Custom Ti from Waltly, geometry based on a Cutthroat, with bent tubes for extra in-frame space and 2.4" tyre clearance. GRX820 with a 36t/10-51.

Taken it on fast road rides (with longer stem and bigger chainring), light enduro trails, across Kyrgyzstan bikepacking, and it's my daily commuter. Not quite one bike to rule them all, but for me it fully completes the space left in between an all-mountain/enduro bike and a light carbon road bike.

  1. Wow! Suuuuuper cool! Would love to see more images and/or video. I haven’t even seen one like this before. Wasn’t aware of z-couplers

  2. I understand the upper joint, but I’d like to see how the lower joint works if you don’t mind sharing more pictures!

  3. Sick! How was the communication with Walty regarding such a special cutting-geometry ?

Do you have an example of a drawing with the junctions’ geometries ? Really interesting!
