Houston, Buffalo Bayou. Bought this Preamble since my company gives a stipend every year for "health-related" items and have been riding it around for the last few weeks on joy rides and running errands. Definitely want to upgrade the seat, bar (Maloko or Cross bar), and add a back rack for a milk crate or panniers. Loving it immensely as I don't enjoy/can no longer run as much as my cross country days.

Honestly, I biked FAR more when I lived in Houston than most of my years in Austin. Only now that I’m in a bike friendly Austin neighborhood do I ride regularly again.

I also saw more live music in Houston and I’m part of a live music patronage charity here.

I just biked 26 miles up and down Brays Bayou today. I’m hoping for an awesome Manivelle basket for Christmas tomorrow for my Space Horse. I like to hop off the trail below the bridges, so enjoy having wider lower pressure tires.Took my hilarious GM today to spread Christmas cheer.

From where you took the pic downtown you can do 30 miles round trip along White Oak, right?

I try to ride my bike to work downtown as much as possible (11 miles one way door to door). Riders on this sub likely wouldn’t understand the special hell that is August biking in Houston, though. Dodge cars and lose 10 lbs of body weight to sweat over 20 miles.
