All jokes aside this is urgently in need of a carbon repair shop or get ready for the crack to grow and you can have the chance to learn to fly a few feet/meters when you crash.

  2. I’d ask Santa for a new frame or ask him to send it off to a carbon repair shop if you’re looking for a cheaper but equally good option

YOLO Full send homie. Put a little nail polish on that bad boy and line up at the front.

I’d cut a PVC in half about an inch long, spray black, and then JB Weld it over the crack. 🤷🏻‍♂️

  5. During lock down I had a near identical crack ( possibly minor crash damage ) . I had to repair it myself, one small wrap then a larger one, ( didn’t have a choice at that time )/ I only retired the frame last year for unrelated reasons after a further 20,000Km, about 4,000 of that loaded up touring.
That said, if you can find a second hand frame it might be a technically easier and price neutral option.

Have it repaired or bin it. Don’t ride it. Repair will be a minimum of $400 and perhaps more. That doesn’t include paint or clear coat. Carbon fail’s catastrophically, so it’s really not a good idea to ride it as is.
