Anyone that can run tubeless should do it. These are 40s, so it's pretty easy for it to make sense.

Riding in a rural area like I do, the roads are littered with pointy crap, i usually don't even notice puncures until I refresh my sealant. This one caught my eye because I had a little splooge on my hand, otherwise… 🤷‍♂️

PS: I still carry a spare tube just in case.

  1. I just installed my first tubeless setup the other night. This new bike has hookless rims, so the low PSI limit made tubeless more appealing. Even though the tires were a bitch to mount, I was able to get them inflated with a floor pump on the first shot. What’s also neat is that the Syncros shaped the plastic valve cap to double as a valve core tool. They took the most useless part of the wheel system and made it useful.

  2. Sounds great.

If you’d like to send me a new wheelset, tires, tape, sealant, valves, and a tubeless patch kit, I’ll get right on it.

    Otherwise, eh….
