That very first corner, between Botchergate and the Crescent, leading to the Wimpy Bar(if I have got it right) its exactly where I made the biggest mistake of my life. It was June 1975 and I left the love of my life 😢.50 years on and I still think of her.

The Council have recently ripped up perfectly good block paving in City centre . No improvement . Slippy to walk on and benches not fit for purpose. Guess they want to take it ftom having character to a very bland 'City of Sanctuary' all down hill from here.
