Hello! I'm a Canadian (Québécois) currently living in Lund, Sweden for a master's. My tentative plan for this summer is to stay in Sweden until Midsummer, then head off for a 1-2 month tour. Looking for recommendations!
My original idea was to head south, probably through France because I love it and would like to explore more of it. However, I've become increasingly worried about the heat. Maybe Brittany is still an option?
Plus, I would be camping, so I've heard that Germany and France can be tricky to wild camp in, as opposed to the Nordic countries. However, I'm worried about the cost of places such as Norway.
Ive also considered the Baltics, as I would assume they are cheaper and less crowded. But I don't know much about them.
I don't mind taking a train too far, but definitely not a plane.
Any suggestions? I'm open to everything!

If you take Baltics, see you don’t ride against the wind.
Wildcamping no problem in France an Germany. Simply hide and don’t start fire. Also people don’t really care. France is bicycle heaven!
You can stick to an Euro Velo (bike highways) or find something here

CDN here, did Via Claudia Augusta “credit card” tour this past summer from Donauworth to Verona and LOVED it. It was my first tour and i’ve got the bug. Route was majority bike paths and farming roads.
I always recommend Czech Republic to anyone. There are a lot of castles, beautiful nature, hills and plains, it’s dencely populated so you can get food and water everywhere (in the shops/restaurants). You can sleep in the forest without a tent legally. With a tent you can as well if you don’t spend more than 1 night and not leave the trash behind. For me personally Czech Rep is the best destination (I’m an immigrant here and love it).
The only place to avoid is following the Rhine River which you do not see very often. From Sweden, if you can take a ferry to Germany then come back to Sweden along the Baltic, you can see the sea very often.
A more adventurous route would be by the Polish side and ride to Estonia, then take a ferry to Helsinki. I did not do this route but you can see a number of different interresing cultures.
