Re do it with no wrinkles or creases
Why is your tape wrinkled like that? Did you not pull the tape tight as you installed it?
Your tape needs to be wider than rim width (if it’s not, hard to tell). Most of the time if tape looks good, it’s leaking at the valve stem.
The wrinkles in the valve tape are from not stretching it as you applied it. As tape stretches, the sides stretch more than the middle creating a natural droop into the well of the rim
Remove and put on new tape. Before that, you want to clean your rim with soap, dry it off, and then clean with alcohol so the new tape has a clean surface to adhere to.
Junk tape job, redo it
Redo it and this time after adding 1 layer of muck off sealant tape, go over it with duck tape. Seriously, the sealant tape will stop all the sticky residue from the duck tape getting all over your rims. When you are done, pull it off and then take off the sealant tape and go again. You’ll not have any issues with leaks with this set up. 🙌🏻✌🏻
Yes re lace the whole thing with a new hub, and tape it better next time too
Best I’ve found is to use a wheel stand to help tension the tape.
Why new rim? Seems like it just needs to be re-taped.
