Hi everyone, has anyone else had issues with the new Muc-Off Big Bore Lite valves?
I’ve had them on my new bike for only two weeks. They look great, but today I was checking my pressure (I was at 19 psi) and used my mini-pump to top it off. While pumping, the valve stem just snapped right off.
I wasn't using excessive force, and I’m pretty disappointed given how much these cost and how little time they lasted. Is this a known QC issue or did I just get a "lemon"?

Damn, I just put a set of the hybrid ones on yesterday.
Well no wonder it broke off, theres barely anything in there besides thread. I dont think its qc or lemon, its just how money-off stuff are
My Big Bore Hybrid valves have been fine for a year. Haven’t seen that before. Maybe freak defect.
I have actually since to another brand of valves for all of my wheels. For ease of filling while out.
The wheelset with the big bores is my winter/mud tire setup, with downhill tires that seem to hold pressure indefinitely.
I prefer schrader style, so I use Ethirteen quick fill schrader valves on my other wheelsets.
Ha. I knew these wouldn’t work!
Muc-Off is a complete joke of a company. All marketing and no engineering. Sorry this happened to you.
I’m yet to try a Muc Off product that isnt garbage. Their “sealant” is an absolute joke
Ive seen one get snapped by a tree branch that also snapped some spokes, but never from just the pump.
I have been using them since July, no issue. My co worker has been using them since last December, no issue. We have customer who are using them on multiple bikes. I also use the normal Muc-Off tubeless valves and they are awesome. I get not even one needs to like them but they don’t make bad products.
