My cycling gear is basically just a large box and it's driving me insane 😵💫
Before every ride I have to rummage through it, most of the gear is black and hard to distinguish and I tend to make multiple trips back into the house before i can start riding because I forgot something.
I am not looking for these fancy wooden pegs for the wall (helmet, shoes, sunglasses), but for something to hold a lot more gear seperated and clearly arranged.
(picture shows only 50% of my gear, because my large frame bag has become a second storage location… which makes things only worse…)

Most of my gears are on my bike; namely whatever you attach to the bike itself plus the helmet, the glasses and the gloves.
Tools in the tool box;
The clothes has its own drawer. And that’s it.
Duffle bag with lots of pockets is the “go” bag. Computer/glasses/lights live there, clothes for next ride go there. Then 6 milk crates like kids use in college for standby gear. Labeled shorts, tights, coats, gloves, jerseys, and winter. The crates allow a little air flow and stack nicely.
Despite my best intentions, all over the place is my answer.
Desk, garage, workbench, radiators, washing machine, car, plugged into sockets, two shelves in wardrobe, kitchen table, stairs…. sometimes even on my bike!
My partner is very patient.
Separate things into categories. I also own a lot of kit, so staying organized is helpful.
I have an apothecary-style storage cabinet with really small drawers: in two of them I keep bike electronics like head and tail lights, batteries, charging cords, head units.
I keep medium-sized fabric bins in a hutch that’s basically dedicated to bike stuff. One has jerseys and base layers; one has gloves, socks, warmers and caps; one has bib shorts and tights; one has jackets, vests and other thermals. Then I have a cabinet area dedicated to nutrition: bottles, drink mixes, gels, snacks, a few consumables. Tools, lubes and cleaning supplies generally stay in the garage with the bikes until the temps hit freezing.
I rotate off-season stuff into big bins that get put away until it’s time to wear them again.
Cold weather stuff is in a shoe organizer inside the coat closet. Color coded by family member. Clothing I just wear what I plan to cycle in most of the time, shorts, wicking shirt, leggins. Cycling equipment is kept in the pockets on the seat of my trike. Shoes go on the chair next to my trike. Trike is kept next to my workbench. So all over I guess?
I have a separate bike clothes wardrobe. Jackets hanging up, a draw for vests and tops, another draw for bib shorts and longs. Shoes in a pull out shelf. Gloves and hats in another draw.
