Like the old song says ‘we do like to be beside the seaside’ and if there’s one place guaranteed to have us packing up our buckets and spades and heading to the coast, it’s Southport.
Merseyside’s favourite resort’s got 22 miles of coastline and the most gorgeous, huge sandy beach where you can have a paddle or a picnic, build a sandcastle, or just walk along and feel the sea breeze whistling past your ears.
But even if you don’t like the feel of golden gritty grains between your toes, there’s tons going on to make this super-special Sefton town so worth a visit this summer.

[Music] Southport is shining bright and there is loads on for you and the family this summer. And we’re here with loads of ideas for your next visit. So, let’s go explore. Let’s start here at the beautiful King’s Gardens where you can hire a pedal on Marine Lake. Enjoy a picnic surrounded by the stunning Victorian architecture. There is a family fun area. Or why not enjoy a stroll or a cycle through the gardens, the coastline or the parks? Or what about here for something a little bit more adventurous? This is Adventure Coast Southport. It’s got four lands, loads of interactive attractions, loads of exhilarating games, and unlike other parks, they want you to bring food and drink to have at their picnic areas. Talking food and drink, Lord Street is filled with loads of great eeries and bars for your next day out like the Grand Brasserie, the Casablanca Bar and Lounge, Aralo Lounge, Lord’s Cafe Bar, and so much more. It really is the place to be. Now for a change of pace, why not go full steam ahead at Southport’s model railway village. This spectacular attraction has panoramic views of its miniature landscapes and in the garden has one of the biggest railway systems in the UK. And finally, Southport Funland is open every day, all year round, no matter the weather, and it is filled with hours of fun, games, and fantastic prizes. What a gorgeous day we’ve had exploring Southport. It’s been amazing. So, make sure you follow Visit Southpaw. And before we go, should we try and win you a little teddy? No, a big one.

I support what you’re doing as I live in Southport, but why don’t you promote your videos a little to relevant people so that they get seen and do some good.
