these Soviet air trams still run in leig Germany the tatra t4d dm1 here was built in communist Czechoslovakia back when Czechoslovakia was a country that actually existed the latest of them went to service here in leig in the 1980s and thousands of them used to roam the streets around the cities of each Germany today though the only cities left running them are Gara zal magur and leig and even Liv will be retiring them in the next few years so ride them while you still can or done they certainly have the ride quality of something from the last century

  1. Leipzig doesn't need to retire them. Yes, they may look a little dated, but they are really good trams that will run in the roughest of conditions.

  2. Did you mean Tatra Trams in general, or specifically the Tatra T4D-M1?
Because there are more cities still running Tatra Trams built in Czechoslovakia, for example Frankfurt/Oder, Potsdam, or even Berlin, in Friedrichshagen

  3. They are actually pretty OK, I always get a little bit of a thrill here in Dresden when they send one out for a fun run, I think our track Inspektion/cleaning tram is the last Tatrabahn which still regularly runs around in the Dresden network. I am glad we mostly have much newer trams though!

  5. If you don't manage to ride them in time, you might as well head to Dnipro where part of these trams were delivered. The issue is that they have been repainted to fit Dnipro's unified transport livery tho.
