Mid-90s Mongoose in its Natural Environment

(At least I think mongeese live by the water, but I’m not positive). I picked up this mid-90s Mongoose Alta for $25 with the intention of making it my Winter beater, but it rides like a dream so I may not beat it up too hard!  Most parts are stock, I completely overhauled the Deore drivetrain(which is now my favorite drive amongst all my bikes), and threw on some super rare imported tires I found at my LBS.  it definitely needs some swept bars, I tried reusing these risers from the parts bin but they’re pretty uncomfortable.  The ID was too narrow for bar plugs, so that’s why there are nickels there:). Pretty sure that idea was in my head from Grant P.  Thanks for checking it out!
