Single digits during the day and coldest we saw was -15F. We gathered over 50 lbs of wood to keep the cabin warm. While the sun stays low at high noon, it’s nothing less of magical.
This is what I’m here for. What an amazing adventure. Thanks for sharing!

How do you keep your feet and hands warm especially in those temperatures?
What specific shoes, socks etc do you use for your feet? What specific gloves do you use, especially since you are not using pogies? Any liners? Any heated clothing, soles, socks?
Let us know. There are many (including myself) who would like to dial in the clothing correctly for such low temperatures…

I reeeeeeally want to do some winter bike packing, with the caveat being I get to stay in a cabin. Looks like such a good time.
