First real accumulation last week in the DMV area! Love a good slipp and slide – surprising amount of predictable grip on these shwalbe g-one rx pros in 50mm. Still fiddling with the pressure – coming from Rene herses the range between grip and rim strike is a bit narrow on the shwalbes. Thinking 32/28 might be the sweet spot. Anyone else have these and found a good setup? They roll super fast on the road with low buzz, just gotta figure out the off road setup.

I have the G-One Bite in 50mm. The equally off-road focused non-racing tires from them.
The Ultrabite and RX aren’t even supposed to be used on road according to them and I still ride mainly on asphalt.
At a 98kg total weight, I have 29psi in the rear and 26 in the front.
The R is probably the next tire I’m going to use after the Bite are worn down or back to some 45mm RSes once spring comes around. Whichever comes first.
Always jealous of seeing those first snow day rides…. funn!!
