    Gotta say I’m kinda curious what gold cranks those are, funny contrast with the entirely rusty kickstand

  3. Those are proof that having the equipment to manufacture a bike frame with does not mean one also understands how a bike frame actually works.

    With it being an aluminum frame, it seems like having a lateral break in the stress loading of the stay would be a really bad idea. Plus there’s two extra welds per stay to get the stress riser party started.

    OP do you have more photos of this bike, including the text on the top tube? It’s an interesting design. The rear stays, coupled with the mounting points, could mean there originally was some sort of specialty rack. Looks like an internally-geared rear hub (drive side cable) and a drum brake(?) (non-drive side cable). And I’m also curious if that rear wheel lock was standard or an add on.
