[Music] There it is, guys. Look at that. Fin air. Yeah. Two two hours. >> Huh? I’m not ready for it. >> You’re not ready for it. >> We got to take another bus. >> Yeah. Take a bus almost one. We have to wait. [Music] [Music] Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening to everyone in the YouTube world. It’s a bright and early morning. As you can see outside, the light is already out. It’s only 500 a.m. Well, it’s about 5:30. We woke up. Now, it’s time to pack get our stuff together all over here. to get all this together. And today we are headed, we’re actually flying to London, then we’re going down south to Portsmith. Portsmith is a very small town and I’ll explain why we are going there specifically. We only have one night there and we’re going somewhere else after that. So, all right guys, here we go. Uber pickup. See you later, Esplan. All right, main train station. And it’s a rough one today, huh? >> That was rough. >> It’s really cold. >> All of a sudden, a little bit a little bit of rain comes in and it’s it’s freezing. >> You got it. Oh, you’re so good. So, we just got to the Helsinki Central Station and we are gonna work our way to the airport. Working our way to the airport. Well, how do you feel about leaving Helsinki? Talk to me for a bit. >> I’m sad. >> I love it. I love Helsinki. It’s been It’s been amazing. Nothing but amazing. It’s a cute small town where it’s not too overwhelming, >> but uh there are quite a few things to do. >> All right. Okay. Let’s go find our train. >> All right. I don’t know if it’s that way or not. >> Um I remember it was uh here. Let’s just go this way. >> It’s a beautiful Saturday morning. >> Very chilly cold travel day, you guys. So, we took an Uber to the central train station. Now, we’re taking this train on platform one all the way to the airport. Very easy. This is the world’s quietest train I’ve ever been on. So we got to remain quiet. [Music] [Applause] [Music] >> Hi. Well, their customer service is amazing, right? The fin what I wanted. >> Helped you with the emerald status, right? >> Yeah. So, I got priority check in with the luggage and then we can go through um priority security here. I don’t know where that is, but >> Oh, and what lounge are we going to? That’s exciting. >> Just the >> business >> fin air lounges. >> Fin air business lounge. >> Yeah, we can’t go to the first class though. >> We’re going to the lounge, which should be over here to Finn Air Lounge. Haven’t had a single drop of coffee or food. Extremely hungry. This airport is beautiful. It’s gorgeous. There it is, guys. Look at that. F air >> lounge. >> Holy moly. >> So empty >> macaroni. >> All right. You want to run around? >> Let’s just start running. Wow. This is super nice. >> Okay. Well, let’s find a spot. I don’t know where the food is. >> Let’s go down there. We’ll find out. >> Oh, that’s a beautiful area. Look at that. Oh, and here’s all the food. Yeah. Awesome. All right. Well, thanks to the pro status, or is that what it is? >> Platinum Pro. >> Platinum Pro. >> American Airlines, we have access to a full-on breakfast before our flight. On this side, you have butter, you have bread, jam, and porridge. Then you have a wine bar over there. You also have an assortment of veggies. You have cheese, sausage. I see that. I see omelette here. Some eggs, some sausage here. Wow. A little bit of pastries. Not bad. And then you have desserts and fruits over here. Coffee at the end over there. This is a Finn Air Business Lounge. Like Boom was saying, there’s a nicer lounge that even has a sauna on top of all this, but we don’t have access to that one yet. It’s pretty cool. Some very beautiful fancy bar here in the middle. Bar opening at 10:30. It’s too early for that. Breakfast looks good. >> Yes, it does. Got me some um >> Mhm. >> Looks like kiche. >> Yeah. With >> bacon um and a sausage and some meatballs. Same. Oh, they don’t have like rice or noodles, but they have a rice pastry. I got pretty much the same thing, but tomatoes and cheese. Cheers, everyone. Hope you guys are enjoying the content. Today is travel day, so it’s going to be hectic. We took an Uber, a train so far, and then we’re about to take a three-hour flight to London, specifically Heathro. Then from Heathro, we’re going to take a bus. So, I think we’re doing every single kind of transport besides boat today. So, it’s going to be fun. Anyways, we’re here at the business lounge for Finn Air. Now, there is a platinum wing, which I haven’t shown you guys yet. The platinum wing opens at 10:30 a.m. So, it’s a little later. Um, and it’s only 9:30 now. So, that’s on the other side of this lounge. It’s not open now. And they have a sauna. Can you believe that they have a sauna that you can access? Must have been nice. I wish I wish I wish we could have done that, but we’re going to have to save it for next time. So, we only have this because of platinum pro status through Hyatt. We do not have business class seats. We only get it through status from Hyatt. So, it really helps to have the Hyatt status. It’s actually one of the easiest uh ones to get status from. So, please ask me any questions if you don’t understand any of it. Uh Boom is a globalist. Globalist is the highest status in uh Hyatt program for hotels. So, it really works out. There’s like little tricks and tips and things that people usually don’t know, but because she does all this reading constantly, updating every single day, I give a lot of credit to her that she knows what she’s doing. We have something really exciting for tomorrow, but I want to wait to tell you guys tomorrow. I really have to wait. I have to do my best. We’ve been waiting for this trip for so many years. Actually, I think 2 years now. It’s going to be fun. Guys, follow along. Like, subscribe. You’re going to love this content coming up. This is pretty cool. You can actually have a phone call in here. Just open the door. Wow, this is a quiet area. It’s pretty cool. I like it. Look at all the seating they have. Really nice. Again, they have a ton of options to eat right over there. And now there is officially more people coming in. It is getting later in the morning, so I can see why. Okay, something super sweet. I had to show you guys where I’m at right now, but you can book private showers for 30 minutes at no cost. Look at this. Private shower activated. Look at this. How sweet is that? They have soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Then you have your toilet to do your business. Then you have like what you can imagine, a hair dryer, paper towel, amenities, a trash can, I mean a sink, a mirror. What’s up, guys? You have hand soap and a body lotion. You have a towel with a little seat, another mirror, and hooks. This is completely This is so cool. I don’t know. When you shower in the airport, it’s just a different level of like why the do I need that? But it’s pretty cool. And so there’s the entrance. If you look straight ahead, the entrance is there. There’s still a lot of seating on this side. But there’s just no food over here, so you have to keep that in mind. There are these cute little pots like this little cozy places. There’s a lot of nooks and crannies over here. Lots of corners, but yeah, this is what you’re going to see when you come in at first. So, have you ever been to a Finn area lounge? Let me know. If any of my subscribers out there have been to one of these, let me know. Would love to communicate, talk about this. It’s really fun to know somebody else has done the same. So, if you’re from Finland, also put in the comments below. Let me know if you’ve, you know, if you’re from here, you live around here. Pretty cold. >> Cheers. >> We’re going to say bye to the business lounge. Did you enjoy it? >> Oh, absolutely. It’s like so huge. >> It’s huge, right? >> It’s It’s nice cuz there’s so many areas where you can just literally be by yourself, >> but everybody seems to stick at the very end of the lounge. >> Yeah, >> it’s so quiet. >> Okay, final score. >> I’ll give it a four out of five. >> Four out of five. Okay, fair enough. Same here. Four out of five for me. It’s amazing. It’s great. Uh the food options I think is where it lacks just a little a little tiny tiny tiny bit. >> It’s It’s so good. Um one last thing, the seating arrangement here is so awesome. They have all kinds of seats. Anything you can think of, they have it all around the lounge. Yeah. All right. We’ll see the lounge later. Business lounge. Fent air. What an experience. >> Did they have lockers? >> Oh, no. I didn’t know they had lockers. They got lockers. Oh my gosh. >> Come out. Come out wherever you are. I wish we had the chance to go to the platinum wing, but >> yeah, true. >> It’s all right. So, you guys of business class lounge because of one world emerald because of high. Oh my god, there’s so much. There’s so much to unravel that one. >> Too many. All right, guys. London Heathro it is. Come. >> Let’s do it. London Heathro. Yeah. >> You ready to go to London? >> Yes. >> I was just there. >> You were just there. Got you. Oh, yeah. We were there just there. So, if you haven’t seen that series, go check it out. >> I like it. >> Finn Air is the official airline of Santa Claus. >> Sorry. >> Sorry, everybody. Sorry. >> You want to go in front of me? >> Yeah. Your window shade must be open. >> Please make sure your hand luggage is two hours. >> Yeah. >> Okay. [Music] [Music] took you so long. >> You’re struggling. All right, we just got to London and we’re going to make our way to Portsouth. First, we need to grab our uh luggage. >> Yep. Got it. And yeah, well, we got to get our luggage. >> Yeah, the other luggage. >> All right. How much did we pay for Helsinki to London? >> So, all in all, we paid 17,000 points, but at the time, there was a 30% bonus. So, the 17,000 became 22,000 points. We booked using Qatar and the uh we booked using Qatar but we flew obviously with Fin Air and taxes and fees we paid $39 and the actual cost of the flight was $356. So we saved $317 for two people flying in economy on Finn Air from Helsinki to London Heathro. >> Good job honey. >> You’re welcome. >> All right. Bye. We’re going to be in London. Actually, we got to wait a couple hours to take a bus to >> Portsmith. >> Portsmith. And then we’ll see what we do there because we have an exciting exciting day tomorrow. Don’t say what it is. >> I think they know. >> No, they don’t. No, they don’t. No, no, no. It’s Portsmith. Don’t Google it. Okay. Bye. [Music] >> All right, we made it to the central bus station here, actually attached to the airport. You have to walk underground for a few minutes, but look at all these people. A lot of people. All right, we’re going to try this black sheep coffee here at the bus terminal. We’re going to have to wait a few hours, but Boom is over here ordering food. >> Girl, you got noodles? >> Yeah. >> All right. >> I missed it. Shut up. >> Let’s eat it. Yeah. >> Hi guys. So, we are currently at the Black Sheep Coffee here at the bus terminal waiting for our bus going. Anyway, so we have some matcha c matcha latte. I have an iced oat milk coffee and some um cheese sandwich, cheese milk and a uh noodles with teriyaki chicken and uh still water. And it all cost 23 pound 235. >> Yes. >> Am I saying it? Okay. National Express Rail Air. They have so many different kinds of buses. They have flight info here. >> We’re all talking about if you want to go to Portsmith. >> Yeah. >> There’s a there’s a coach that goes straight. >> Okay. Well, that was a mess. >> Yeah. >> 1435. We got on the bus. There was only one seat left. Uh so we got kicked off and now we’re on this new bus >> because of his luck. >> Because of my luck. It’s because of our luck. And but it’s fine. It turned out to be fine. We’re going to Southampton. No. What is it? >> Portsmith. >> Portsmith today. Anyway, we are getting there now. We’re on a bus to get there. All right. We’re on the bus picking up other customers. But how much was this ride for the two of us? One way. >> Oh, I don’t know. One way, but I know round trip. >> Round trip. Sorry. round trip was £12.90 and that includes a 20 change fee for items. Um, I just did that just cuz I wasn’t sure if I needed to change it in case of flight delays and stuff. So, I just kind of wanted a little insurance for myself. So, if I did do that, it would have been £82.90. >> Okay, not bad. Welcome to Port Smith. [Music] So that was about >> that was about almost 2 hours. Yeah, just about. [Music] >> Hi, sweetie. We’re in Ps. [Music] Here we go. So, you can pay with your credit card, contact list, your app, cash, and I love the electric buses that they use. That is so cool. This thing doesn’t make a sound. >> Yeah. >> All right. Easy, easy bus ride. >> Yeah. >> And now we’re here at the Holiday Inn. That’s where we’re staying, guys. >> It’s £1.70 pins for each person. One way. >> Yes. All right, here it is. Holiday in. Let’s do it. >> Okay, guys. Welcome to the Holiday Inn in Portsmith. We have our key. We checked in down below. And at the end, we’ll let you know the price that we paid. So, those go cute. Let’s get a room tour. [Music] Come on in, guys. We got our hotel room here. All right. I’m liking liking it. Now, you do feel the age here, but that’s okay. It’s just the hotel does have its age. All right, let’s check out the bathroom first. Come follow me. We have the most simple of simple things. We have a uh sink. We have a couple cups. We have hand and body wash here. Then we have the toilet to do your business right below me. We have a couple of towels here. And then if you want to come through, we have a shower that’s a little elevated, so you got to watch your step. And then you have shampoo, hand, and body wash as well. Okay, so let’s check out the hallway. Here you have a mirror to your right, and then you open up to the rest of the room. It’s very simple, guys. It really only has the basics. So, let’s start over here at the bed. You have a pen and paper. You also have the light switch there. You have some charging on this side over here. Let’s turn on the lights here. Okay. Have some charging here. Not too much. And then uh I think this is a queen-siz bed. That’s kind of what it looks like, but we’ll do a bed test later. Then you have a closet. Yes, we have a closet with the iron board. We have a fan here. That’s pretty cool. Oh, we have another towel here. That’s where the towels are. Then we have a a haird dryer and a iron. So we have hangers as well. Not too bad. Pretty simple. Okay. So we have uh let’s see a luggage holder, a flat screen TV. Then here at the bottom we have more storage. Not bad at all. I like that. And then we have a tea corner. Maybe some coffee. Yes, coffee as well. We have some more charging here. So that’s going to be handy. We actually have more charging back here. And then a tiny little baby lamp here to do any work. You also have a chair. You can sit down, be on your laptop, do your stuff. Then you have a little corner here with some menus, which is pretty cool. You have pizza and procco. You can order food. And then you have a full-on menu here. That’s pretty cool. You You really have everything. It’s not bad. All day dining. Okay. Holiday in all day dining. And there’s prices in there as well. You also have this corner here with another lamp. uh and a chair. And then if you want to look up here, you have the air condition up here. This hotel is quite old. I can tell once you look at the details, you can see the age. And last but not least, you have a view of the roof. >> And which roof is this? >> And a bird. And that’s where we came in through the parking lot to my right. >> Oh, yeah. >> And yeah, Portsmouth. It’s >> looks old. >> Looks old. Looks like a lot of history. So I’d love to walk around a little later. We’re going to eat and relax cuz tomorrow is a big day, guys. Tomorrow is a big day. I’m not going to say anything yet. So, you got to keep guessing. It’s not in the title, but you wait for next episode because it’s going to be amazing. You guys watch out. Don’t leave. Like, subscribe or else. And as usual, this is the points girly. Actually, this is one of the few times that I booked with a Chase portal because there wasn’t a lot of height properties here. There was one Mr. and Mrs. Smith property that was a little far from the center and I really didn’t want to do that. So, um, I booked it using the Chase portal because I wanted to use my $50 Chase Sapphire Preferred credit. So, the original cost of this hotel was $216 minus the $50 credit. So, we got it for $166. Again, you know, it’s not it’s not a great redemption cuz I didn’t even use points, but I like to use whatever credits I can use on something. And that was in this case $50 off. >> Oh, okay. We’re going to go eat. They have Uber here in Portsouth. So, we’re getting a catch. We’re catching a ride to go to the Sper Tower. Now, we’re not going to go up today, but we are going to eat somewhere below and just catch some sunset views if we can. calories. >> I know. >> They probably have good sushi here. So, >> all right. This is like their shopping area. >> Okay. >> Gunwarf. >> Let’s do that. >> And then there’s the Oh, five guys. We’re going to do Waga Mama. >> Okay. Waga Mama. >> All right. So, this pretty This looks like the hangout spot. So, let’s check the area out. The Sper Tower is right here as well. It’s just going to be closed now cuz it’s a little later in the day, but for now, this is the place we’re going to meet up in the wild. >> In the wild. >> In the wild. This is a pretty cool area. Very popular. Lots of younger people. >> Have you ever heard of Portsmith before coming here? I think I have, but also just as a >> a cruise, you know, port. >> As a cruise port. >> Yeah. >> Not that we’re going to do that tomorrow, but you know, you guys will find out later. We’ll see. Just never know. Oh, how do we go up there? Oh, there it is. Yeah. Yeah. Wow. Look at that thing. It’s so tall. Okay, we’re here at the Gunwarf Quay and you’ll see right behind me there is the Sper Tower. I love you guys. Now, that thing is 170 m tall. It’s the tallest structure here in Portsouth. And uh you there’s a viewing point up there. You can pay it for for a little fee to go up there, go see the beautiful sunset or whatever view you want to see. And uh this area is popping. Lots of young people. Everybody’s eating out, having a great time. I might go to Lacost, might go to Ralph Lauren. I don’t know. We’ll think about it and see if I’m a good guy or not today. But, uh, I love the area. Let’s go eat mama. >> Wagama. >> There it is. Oh, ramen, too. So, >> yes, please. >> Okay. Well, we’re going to eat at Waga Mama. >> And this place is super packed. We could barely find a table. A lot of people around. A lot of noise, guys. But this is a menu here. Um, everything’s in British pounds. So, everything ranges from eight British pounds to maybe 20 21. So, they have everything from curry, bow buns, lighter bites, epanyaki, ramen, puff, a lot of Asian foods. They have rice, gyoza, they even hot honey, chicken. I think it’s a chain restaurant, so it’s back in the States as well. And they also have a kids menu in the back. All right, guys. I got two different kinds of of pai noodles. And we got one in here that got accidentally wet. But no, this this is called pai sour. And it’s a very strong drink. I’m sure it’s pretty delicious. Oh yeah, that’s going to that’s going to be good. And then we have the regular pai with chicken. That looks amazing. I cannot wait to eat. Let’s dig in. >> And then I got the I think it’s Sanman beef. That’s the beef ramen. That’s the only beef ramen there. It looks so good. Oh my god, I’m excited. >> All right, we had a cool experience at Waga Mama. I think it’s really packed. It is a weekend, so that’s why I’m think everybody’s out. There’s indoor seating and outdoor, and it’s a beautiful view from here. The food was pretty delicious. I’d give it a four out of five experience, though. Uh so if you’re ever in town, uh there’s a whole bunch of other options here. They have pizza and uh some other stuff. So, um, how much did you pay? >> We paid £4860, which is about £66 pricey. Pricing. >> Beautiful. Lovely day. >> Ice ice cream. >> Ice cream. >> Perfect. >> Wait. Oh, that’s fun. [Music] >> Portsmith is a vibe. They have a lot of music going on. The shops and restaurants are all busy. It’s such a great time here. I really like it. So, man, if we had another day here, we could go to the museums, learn a lot, see a lot more. But we only have one night here. Gunwarf Quay and you see this beautiful old gate dating back to the 1600s. When you think of the British in the UK, look at this. This is what you think of. Old homes like this. All brick, different colors. Very cute, quaint, chill. Everybody’s just having a glass of wine here behind me. Okay, now we’re looking at the Port Smith Cathedral, the main cathedral of this town. We just came across it. Didn’t know we were going to pass by. Look how nice that is. It’s all made of stone. Impressive. Look at these graves. I see some headstones here. And I think there’s some bodies over here. Wow. Mhm. >> Oh, no. Oh, no. It’s closed. This is a garrison church and it’s got a wide open concept in there. Look at this tombstone though. Look how elaborate that is. I can’t believe this church was built in 1212. It was also damaged in 1941 from World War II. But my goodness, >> I might be looking at the oldest church I’ve ever seen. I don’t know. >> You see that? >> Yeah, guys. This is gorgeous. I didn’t think Portsmith had this much to do and too much to see. There’s a like a fair over there. Carnival. Let’s go look at those rides. I think we’re going to walk by there and just kind of go from there. All right. Coming from the church back over there. I’m going to walk this a little creepy >> tunnel. Yeah, >> crazy. >> Looks a little creepy. >> It’s pretty old. >> This is scary. >> This is nice. But there’s lights in here. >> All finished up. Look at this. >> It’s a little creepy, baby. >> Scary. Come here in the middle of the night. In the middle of the night. Woo! Fun. Okay, that body of water is called the Solent and this right here is Clarence Park. So, it’s right next to the water. I see a really strong current right there in the middle. So, I cannot imagine. Look how choppy those waves are. Just can’t imagine being out there, guys. It even says Mr. Bean was filmed here back in 1994 for a little scene. Oh my gosh. I’m going to do some homework when I go back home and see what scene that is. [Music] Treasure Island, Min. Okay, we stumbled upon Clarence Pier, which is uh beautiful in its own way. It’s very old. What I do like is that it has a lot of history. It actually opened in 1861 and ever since it’s been changing into like carnival games and like a pier and then like boats leaving from here. They go to Isisle of Whites I believe which was across the water. Um there’s so much to see but not enough time guys but uh I don’t know. This is afternoon here in Portsouth. We love it. We shall not die today. We’re >> trying. >> So we’re back at the hotel you guys. It’s getting a little late. So, we’ve explored a lot in just a few hours. We had a travel day. Plus, we do all this. >> Yeah. We’re not We’re sleeping in tomorrow. I think I hope >> it’s a lot. >> It’s a lot. >> About. >> Okay. We’re in Port Smith. Portsmith, right? >> I think so. >> I get confused cuz it’s like Port’s mouth, but it’s not really. >> I think they say Portsmith, but >> Portsmith. Uh, what do you think? First impressions of this. >> What do you think? >> I like it a lot. It’s more lively than I thought. There’s more to do. There are concerts going on. A lot of history. You just have to look for it. I really like the cathedral. And uh yeah, what do you think? >> It’s a very old town, full of history. Like you said, one just has to look uh it definitely is more than just a pit stop. I think for people that are cruising, >> um, again, we have been surprised, pleasantly surprised by >> by the places that we’re visiting cuz honestly, we have not expected much. No, >> cuz we also have not researched much. Um, so it’s it’s been great. I wish I do wish we’ve we have more days here cuz they have so many activities right now. During the summer, they have a lot of activities. You know, obviously I can’t imagine it during the winter. was probably like freezing. >> So, I don’t think I can ever visit here at the time. >> Yeah. >> But summers are lit in Portmith. >> Yeah, it was fun. So, we’re going to try something new tomorrow. Well, we’re going to do something that we haven’t told the peoples yet. So, we’re going to save that for tomorrow. So, good morning, >> good afternoon, >> and good evening to everyone in the YouTube world. We’ll catch you guys tomorrow. >> Bye. Time to drop off the luggage right over here. Welcome to Portsmith International Port. >> The loveliness has something to say. >> Ao. >> Oh my god, that’s scary. [Music]

  1. Great video, always enjoy seeing people touring my home city. You pronounced Portsmouth correctly btw 🙂
If you get the chance to visit again, I'm sure you would enjoy the historic dockyard located next to Gunwharf Quays, where you can visit and walk around Admiral Lord Nelson's flagship during the battle of Trafalgar in 1805 the HMS Victory. Along with HMS Warrior from mid 1800s and more.
Happy you enjoyed your time here and safe travels!
