  1. The weight of the bike is not enough to cause any issues. Just don’t work on the bike while it’s hanging like this, and you’ll be fine.

    Carbon is not delicate, no matter what the retired-pro-who-only-rides-steel tells you.

    Also, keep the microfiber wrap around the hooks. The rubber cover on hooks eventually decay and will leave residue on the frame.

    I have wood hooks with felt furniture pads affixed to it. I kinda feel that a fancy bike needs a fancy display/storage.

  3. So, when I have been concerned about the pressure loading from hooks, I’ve just sacrificed a pool noodle to the cause. Spreads the load out 3 or 4 times the contact patch.
