  1. Hi All, I’m seeking your help as I just got two punctures on my rear wheel in a couple of weeks (never had a puncture in the previous 4 years). I inspected my last inner tube carefully: the hole its internal and it matches exactly the position of the rim seam.

If you look at the pictures you can see that the rim is not perfectly aligned and you can clearly feel a little notch on both sides of the rim. The black mark left by the brake pads on the outside of the rim is a clear indication of this issue.

Have you ever experienced something similar? What do you suggest to resolve the issue and stop getting punctures?

    Thanks

A riding buddy of mine had this issue on a gravel bike and had to get the wheel replaced, it was under warranty but a ball ache nevertheless.

That needs sorting and old school mechanic would likely bend it back into shape. If you’re still in warranty it’s newish and your near a Brompton dealer get it swapped out.
