this is my Nukeproof giga 297 comp 2022, i bought it from my uncle last October for £500 so it were like the deal of a lifetime and i absolutely loved it when i got it, the problem is i just don’t ride it anymore – ive gotten really into skateboarding and bmx and even have a scooter at this point😆 it is a really nice bike and id be sad to see it go just because it is such a beast but i really just don’t get out on it anymore, i got my bmx in june when my mtb was in the shop and ended up loving it and think i only went on 1 mtb ride since i got it back, i have occasionally brought it down to the skatepark with me but only as an easy way to get there with a skateboard on my back, i used to ride it to work quite often but it is hard work with all the travel (14 miles in total there and back) and its also pretty over kill for the trails near me anyway and it would be nice to has a bit of cash in my pocket
i was planning on putting it up for around 2 grand as i’ve seen it listed for similar prices on marketplace and ebay (uk market) and would get a decent hardtail to replace it with just for when i need a mountain bike and so if i ever do fancy going back out on one i’ve got something, im really not sure though and would just like some other opinions

Have you asked your uncle about this? I certainly would be somewhat interested if I gave a family member a ridiculously discounted bike and they flipped it shortly after.
buddy we aren’t your financial advisors. If you think you’re done with riding mountain bikes, sell it. If you think there’s a chance you may pick it back up again, then selling it now is a waste of money because it’ll probs cost more to re-purchase this level of bike than you made off the sale.
Also, you sound like a kid so here’s some advice on hobbies: treat them like plants in your garden. If you pay attention to them, they’ll probably grow. If you ignore them, they’ll probably die. If you aren’t interested in riding mtb, it could be because you either (A) genuinely don’t want to anymore or (B) because you’ve done it once in the last year.
I mean, if you don’t use or don’t plan to use it… why keep it?
For me personally, I wouldn’t sell it BUT I ride manyy trails a year and go to the bikepark to make my vacations with my bike.. so well, its up to you I guess.
Just one long sentence. Wild.
