i want to switch to 165mm cranks. currently using 172.5mm. though my chainring uses 110×5 BCD interface and I can't find a crankarm in my budget for 110×5. My chainring looks like it supports 110×4 BCD as well but im not sure. someone help please.
Ignore dirty bike in the picture, only picture i could find
other details: BBright (30mm spindle used according to chatgpt**)
ultegra r8000 mechanical 11 speed
EDIT: Is it possible to use other rotor crankarms (aldhu/3d/3d+ etc)? If I do this, do I need to change the spindle/chainring adapter?
EDIT 2: Max budget: 350-400USD. I'm open to second hand and aliexpress parts too.
Looking at the following options, open to feedback and suggestions (website is local bike shop):
- Rotor INPower V3 DM (770 SGD //600USD)
- since this is a powermeter im willing to put out a little more money
- Rotor ALDHU Carbon (551 SGD// 430 USD)
- Rotor ALDHU 24 (429 SGD // 333 USD)
- Rotor ALDHU Crankarms (343 SGD // 265 USD)

Get a GRX crank arm and put an aftermarket chainring on it. And don’t use ai, it won’t help.
If you admit the problem is budget… you need to state your budget.
It also sounds like you expect to use the same chainring.

This is correct. The S3 has a BBRight bottom bracket shell. Conversion bottom brackets exist to use Shimano cranksets on BBRight.
Can someone explain this short crank thing to me? Have you tried to climb a hill with the short cranks? It makes me want to die. Who wants this?
