Have you heard of Kosovo? It’s one of my favorite hidden gems in Europe, and I’m so excited to be back here for a 2nd visit! This time, I’m showing you what $10 USD can get you in this super affordable, yet incredibly unique country. From delicious local food to cultural experiences and even some unexpected surprises, I managed to stretch my money way further than you’d expect — seriously, the value for your money here is insane!

In this video, I explore the vibrant streets of Prizren, diving into the local culture and trying out some authentic Kosovar dishes that are packed with flavor but super cheap. You’ll see how far $10 goes when it comes to food, transportation, and even a little souvenir shopping.

Kosovo isn’t just about affordability, though. The culture, the people, and the unique blend of history and modernity make it one of the coolest places to visit in the Balkans. I loved connecting with locals, learning more about their traditions, and experiencing the warm hospitality that makes this place feel so special. You won’t believe how much fun I had on this $10 adventure!

what's up guys I'm jinsky and in this video I'm going to show you what $10 can get you in the Republic of Kosovo what is considered to be the poorest country in Europe but I promise you it's not the ugliest wow feel like I'm living in the 9s here Koso it's my second time in Kosovo and let's just say that this is the most interesting country in Europe that is if you call it a country 76 UN member States including Argentina Brazil China India Indonesia Mexico Russia and South Africa do not consider Kosovo as an independent country but we aren't going to get into politics here and instead we're going to explore the UNESCO city called prisin I just want to say it's a magnificent day the weather is perfect I mean look at this you have everyone eating outside like Europeans do this is an amazing view you have a castle here the beautiful Old Town of pran and the historic Bridge wow you see a lot of construction going on here in Koso big buildings the whole town of pris is pretty small we just walk like the outskirts and here is kind of the downtown but you have the mountain there and the city is just right below it so it's not a very big place but a beautiful one indeed the culture prayer just came on which is incredible here in Kosovo one of three countries in Europe that is Muslim majority I'm heading inside this giant mosque that looks amazing let's go check it [Music] out W look at this architecture amazing I'm inside the main mosque here in pris and as you can see it's beautiful wow it's stunning just so cool there a Muslim country love it considering there's not a whole lot of things to buy on the streets here I found a little souvenir shop and to go inside this PL is pretty cool yeah that's a [Music] winner thank you very much bye-bye byebye pretty cool souvenir and for only 3 bucks that's a bargain you know what's so cool about this city is this is what I feel like all of Europe look like before tourists arve you still have these beautiful old town with cobblestone streets and shops cafes restaurants but there's like no tourists here here you have like the whole city to yourself and it is Magic it's super interesting because everywhere I go in Cal I see an American flag and that's because the US helped Kosovo get independence in 2007 the United States formerly recognized Kosovo as a sovereign and independent nation so they're very pro-american here probably one of the most pro-american countries in the world pretty cool stuff what's up where are you guys from what's up where you from Goa dude I'm so happy to be here man this place is awesome yeah bro Costa is great take care bye later you know what time it is ice cream time can I just get uh some pistachio here you go thank you man thank you appreciate it I don't know why but ice cream tastes better in Europe maybe because gelato is from Europe This pachio hits [Music] differently even though it's a beautiful day the weather's perfect and I'm in the middle of the old town it's still pretty empty look at all these empty chairs very strange I got to be honest it's kind of cool that I'm walking in downtown pris and the buildings are still like pretty run down look at this freaking wild man look at this wire situation here this situation looks like I'm in Vietnam look at that woo right in the old town here's a lovely little church this church makes me feel like I'm in Georgia or something the country or armania look at that in case you didn't know this using the bathroom in Europe is not free you actually have to pay for it so I'm going to go do my business and use this as part of the $10 video this part of the bathroom is for washing before prayer and after prayer in case you guys haven't seen my worst bathrooms in the world video I'll link it down below this one's definitely not the worst but it is a squatter potty and uh yeah camera's going off now I'm going to go ahead and say that pran is one of the most beautiful small towns in Europe along with Chum love in the Czech Republic just one of those that catches You by surprise it's beautiful Charming nice views everywhere and it's interesting because Koso itself is like stuck between Turkish culture Italian culture Albanian culture the Balan culture it's so interesting I just met Arnold and Liz from Texas in Brazil what's going on guys what's up brother cheers by the way cheers we got our little Turkish coffee what brings you to Kosovo uh man for one the adventure of course cting countries the beautiful mountains man especially I'm coming from Aon so what's on the other side of the mountain first time in the Balkans for both of you first time in the B what do you think of Koso we love it you actually find a little bit of history or tradition in little pockets so we actually liked going through every little street so we can talk to people same that's probably that's probably how we met right here in this spot like behind the the mosque before you came here did you have any idea what you expect I didn't yeah uh I didn't expect this actual City to be like in the middle of it's beautiful man yeah it's it's it's a UNESCO site this this city you know that like that did you see the bridge that bridge was made like 700 years ago what that's that's why it's a UNESCO site I don't know what I was expecting but people are very nice and it feels very safe yeah and hospitable I think it's it's it's kind of like in all Muslim countries you'll find that like if you go into turkey and then east of turkey you'll find the same hospitality like this the funny thing about it before uh I you know CH throw that in uh Macedonia and Kosovo that is two separate cultures different Religion different language yeah just being on the other side of the mountain so yeah I always tell this to people like in the US it's so freaking big but it's like one culture really yeah like you get different accents in different like communities around but like you could be on a 5H hour plane and you still can speak to people the same way but in Europe you can drive like two hours yeah and it's like totally different totally different yeah I just met up with Deanna after she's been working all day so now we have one more thing to get and we don't know what to get cuz we're kind of lost in kosa but we see something that says pogacha pogacha you want Pacha okay we're going to see what they serve at pogacha you going to get something from pogacha you get to choose anything you want what is pogacha Bab everything says pogacha it's a bakery SL desert place I don't know what to get oh the TA okay this one okay what is it [Music] but there's a Nutella photo so we it's Nutella hello Nutella Nella one how much is that 40 cents thank you so much thank you bye-bye oh it's your own version of [Applause] Nutella right it's kind of good it's like a pastry with something like Nutella but not exact L Nutella final thoughts on coo while we're watching the sunset very interesting yeah it's very [Music] different what I like about my second YouTube channel here is that I can be more myself and joke around it's not so professional I'm shooting on my phone right now we're just hanging out and I kind of like that you know what I mean I know how my big Sony with my big mic and all the gear we're just being ourselves in Koso in total I got this souvenir plate a visit to the toilet one ice cream cone one cup of coffee and this bread thing for $99.90 and that is what 10 can get you in Kosovo thank you for watching this has been a special story to make cuz I love this place and I'll see you guys in the next video like subscribe comment bye what

  1. In the US you get the same culture? That tells me your circle doesn't include the melting pot of America. I am brown born from South America, grew up in Brooklyn. Family is so mixed, and friends area from all parts of the world (Jamaica, Bahamas, Puerto Rican, Bulgarian, Bangladesh, Indian, Haitian, Pakistan, and yes, white Americas too. With religions of all kinds living in NYC. I grew up Catholic, Hindu, went to pray with friends of islam, baptist, the list goes on. All while in NYC. So I must disagree when you say America is all one culture. I do get your point about Europe as I live half the year in there, but gotta disagree with u there.

  2. Im from kosovo and im gonna tell you they scammed you! 2€ for icecream is crazy it is around 70¢ or 1€ and the bathrooms everywhere are free

  3. It’s always crazy to me watching your videos how a lot of countries people are so impressed and amazed by America 🇺🇸 but Americans spread hate into their own country smh pray for Merica

  4. I was deployed here with the US Army in support of KFOR in 2003-2004. It’s a beautiful country but incredibly poor. It still seems like there’s no industry or export economy. It’s unfortunate.

  5. Yo i live in Kosovo and every day it’s beautiful sun shine super hot and they were also many poor people because in Kosovo there was always sunshine and it was beautiful so beautiful, but then we were going back to Lichtenstein and it was super cool fr
