I recently bought my first B’Twin 120 and I find it quite heavy. I’m not very familiar with bike parts, but is it possible to replace the frame with an alloy one? If yes, could you recommend a good brand?

All things considered, parts, effort, cost effectiveness.. the short answer would be no. Far easier to find a bike you prefer and sell that one towards the cost.
