So, I finally have gotten some good ride time on the MRP Noken that I added to my 150 mm Rockshox Lyrik base fork. I'm really impressed with this thing! Note that my Lyrik was already performing great and i wanted to see if it was possible to make it better (without doing a charger/damper upgrade).
My fork pressure before the Noken was 76.5 psi and 13 clicks of rebound. When i first got it, i used the same pressure (per MRP recommendation) and just did 2 clicks faster rebound to 11. Already rode nicer 👍🏼 Then, I upped pressure to 77.5, but I couldn't get it to ride better. Then I dropped pressure to 75 psi, 10 clicks rebound. Now it's perfect!!! 👌🏼 Awesome small bump compliance, Really great mid-range stroke and no harsh ramp up! Before I would maybe use about 85mm of travel and now I'm using 120mm-ish. I cant believe how good this is right now. Especially for the price!
For reference I'm 175 lbs on bike and have a Trek Roscoe 8 Hardtail.
