Building this bike with a purpose.

My local Community Food Hub has created a coupon system for a hot sandwich and drink or a slice of pizza and drink, in partnership with the local bodega and pizza shop around the corner. They recognize that some people who visit the space either don’t have a kitchen or simply don’t have a home to cook or prepare many of the raw foods they often distribute. I love them even more for that, so I have partnered with them to help raise funds for their coupon system because it’s a way I see I can contribute.

I will be building the occasional bike and raffling it off. I think I’m discovering a new purpose in my love for bikes as a hobby, and I’m grateful to be able to lend a helping hand. Fingers crossed I can sustain this project! Bonus points to anyone who has a cool name for this "raffle a bike for food" idea!
