For those touring/toured in China, has anyone used China Rail Consignment to ship their (disassembled) bikes?
From what I understand, I know that China HSR typically doesn't allow bicycles onboard, but you can consign it in a luggage car (typically 1 day prior). After arrival, it may be held & claimed within 3 days.
Does anyone know if/what are the size & weight requirements for consignment luggage? The only "vague" definition I could find was that it fit thru a luggage car (2m x 1m), but no details beyond that.
