First time removing push fit BB. Used the Park Tools BBT-90.3 tool. The bearings came out eventually but the cups stayed in. Are they not supposed to come out too? They are looking a bit worse for wear.
If they’re plastic, yeah. Full replacement is reasonable enough. You can get push fit BB’s that screw together and are aluminium that you can change just the bearings in. They also screw together to help them stay put and not squeak etc

Yes, all should come out, at least on this particular BB.

I hope someone didn’t use bearing retention compound on those cups. They can be a PITA to remove if someone did.
But, yes, the cups should come out and be replaced for that BB.
