Hey! New here…i’ve been looking for a road bike that fits a small budget and first I was thinking on Tribans vs some used roadies. What i do like about triban 500 (sora) or even 120 (microshift) is the wide tyre clearance since I like to take many off road routes mixed with road. I currently ride a Riverside 500 trekking from Decathlon.
Now I found a Giant Contend (2 i guess) on FB that i fell in love for being the prettiest of all the ones i found to be in my budget and for a gret price of €350.
Only downside is it has shimano claris groupset, i’ve never riden it but i was looking for sora or similar.
So my question is, should I get the claris on the giant or look for a better groupset on another bike?
Aditionally the clearance is up to 32mm, will it be enough?
