I have a Shimano hub, but the freehub body is making a clunking noise. I took it to a shop, but they couldn't open it because the nut (the one that's marked) is too tight. What can I do to unstick it myself so I can service it? They told me the only option is to buy another hub, but I don't have the budget for that. 🙁

This looks like one of newer Shimano hubs with cartridge bearings which are not threaded at all.
