Just picked up my custom Italian steel bike – handmade in East London by Quirk Cycles. Frame is made from a mix of Columbus spirit and life tubing with some 3d printed parts too. I chose a powder coat finish so it doesn't stand out too much. The fork is a raw carbon look enve all-road.

Rest of the build is sram force, enve bar/stem/seatpost and some roval alpinist clx wheels from my previous bike. Weighs 8.6 kg with pedals, so not one for hardcore weight weenies but also not that much heavier than the carbon canyon endurace it replaced.

I was not familiar with this brand. Looks nice, elegant thin tubes, but it looks modern. And the colour is very nice, it suits the frame.

  2. If money was no object a Quirk bike would definitely be on the list. Some of the one off bikes he has made are unreal. The paint jobs are another level too.
