  1. It looks like you need a “hat washer”, I believe it’s called?
    I’m not very familiar with modern day 24mm crank axles, but back in the day, there was basically two options. You either ran a crankset with a 19mm axle, or a 22mm axle.
    Sprockets were often (always?) bored too big and came with both a 19mm as well as a 22mm hat washer.

    I imagine hard, repetitive impact could ruin the washer that was probably once there over time..

  2. Top hat washer needed, it spaces the chainring bore size to the crank axle size. Someone’s had the crankset apart and hasn’t refitted it

    3 washers/spacers outside of the crank arm is suspicious – as if there’s something outside that belongs inside (the arm) – in the hat-washer area.
