It's not quite what people think of as an xbike, but I hope I get a pass because I daily drive it (I only have two bikes, and the other one is my big heavy grocery getter).

I built in the summer, then took the photoshoot at San Jose Municipal Rose Garden. I put a lot of love into this thing, and I figured if anyone would appreciate all of its little details, it would be you guys. Thanks for inspiring me.

  1. Looks fantastic

I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a short head tube

Is it cool if I ask about the C-t-Cs of your seat tube and top tube on this one, as well as your height ?

Also are the wheels 700c ?

  2. my kinda xbike. had i seen this listing i mighta gone for it (but glad you snagged it)! hope it feels sublime!

my xbikes are vintage steel racers. if you’re a light rider, you can gingerly crawl up and down some gnarly stuff (within reason, but hey, who’s to say what the limit is).

(I also did gold spot-treatment paint on another frame that was banged uppp and scrubbed & rust-treated back to life.)
