Collected it yesterday from a friend, it's an OLMO 50 year anniversary with olĂmpics logos on it, can't find any info on it.
Made from ALU 7005 in Italy.
Elevated chainstay.
Not sure if its really Olmo, but it’s a sweet frame. I’d love a frame like that to build up.
Vind- on
Olmo is located in Celle Ligure. Historically they were one of the many lugged steel frame makers. I doubt they ever worked with aluminium themselves, but they were the sponsor of an European UCI Pro team during the early 2000s and those frames were made with Deda aluminium tubing.
Very likely your frame is made by one of the big frame makers of the 90s like Masciaghi. Even Specialized had frames made by them in Italy.
