Hello beautiful people of this subreddit. In February 2026, I will be setting off from Panama to cycle all the way to New York City. I have experience in long distance bike touring in Europe and Asia, but I have no rigorous plan for this all-America trip yet. I tend not to plan too much, but some prior preparation is obviously essential. Can anyone help with the following:
Are there any routes or locations along the way which are worth using/visting?
Should I get a multi-fuel stove? (I currently have a screw top propane-butane stove but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to find matching gas cans in C. America)
Any advice is seriously appreciated!
