Yes I had same deformation/break of fork. I hit sand dune at 30km/h and my front wheel instantly went 90 degrees to side against the ride direction. Did 2 frontflips while one foot still clipped in. I was amazed how slow motion it was, to some extent – even entertaining.
So my fork ended up twisted like a spiral. Good thing was that for fixing it, bottom legs were enough, cost like 300 bucks to replace fox 32.
The giant forks are potentially one of the worst forks to ever exist
