Just wanted to share something new we’ve launched at Clever Cycles that might be useful for anyone thinking about a Brompton that’s a little more their own.
We’ve built a Custom Brompton Design Studio, where you can choose your Brompton type, drivetrain, colors, bars, gearing, and a lot of the finer details that usually aren’t available directly from Brompton.
A few quick details:
- We’re offering C, P, T, and G Line builds.
- The T Line tool allows you to choose a range of Cerakote frame colors, plus some new rims we talked Rolf Prima into making.
- We can even Cerakote the rims to match the frame if you want a full custom look.
Years ago we had a similar tool, but it didn’t offer anywhere near the options this one does.
This was a big undertaking for us and we’re pretty excited with how it came out. It is brand new, though, so there may still be a few rough edges to take care of. We'll be adding more options as we dial it in.

Very fun GUI! Love the attention detail with the colors and options displayed as I went. I built up a T Line 1 speed with all my fav parts. Did it on my mobile phone but I imagine it would be better on a tablet or something a little bigger.
Maybe they could just make basic bikes and stick to that. This is stupid.
This is cool to give customers the choice. I’ve thought of doing something similar but not had the time yet!
How does this customisation affect the frame warranty by the way? And do you laser etch the Brompton logo again on the T Line main frame after the cerakote?
