After assembling a cassette on my new wheel set I noticed a noise when pedaling. It seems like the cassette/freehub Is getting some resistance but the wheel itself can move freely. Does anyone have a clue what is going on?

Take the cassette/free hub body off of the hub and make sure the pawls are all in good shape as well as the teeth on the hub itself.
Tightened the cassette lock ring adequately? Didn’t over tighten the thru axle? That what has caused this kinda thing for me in the past, at least when it wasn’t something else.
