It's a 2019 Trek SL6 with about 8000km. Ultegra 52-36 chainring and 11-32 cassette (11 speeds). Carbon frame, BMC aluminum handlebars, Progress Phantom rims (tubeless compatible). Handlebar tape and cassette recently replaced, allowing for a higher gear range. New Eagle Sport tires, carbon seatpost, EDCO carbon wheels, very fast rolling, 50mm profile

Should I buy?

  1. Yes! Fantastic find. Two sets of wheels too and ultegra R8000! That’s an amazing deal, even for a rim brake bike like that, and the alloy wheelset being tubeless compatible is a huge plus. As long as you’re okay with a rim brake bike and having a max tire clearance of probably 28mm on that emonda, it’s a fantastic deal. The gearing is fantastic too, nice range on that to tackle most gradients and the extra alloy wheelset is great if you want to have some better braking in more wet or winter/fall conditions.

  2. Price wise it’s okay. But carbon rims + rim brakes isn’t a great combo. If you are planning on riding in the wet id skip. But if otherwise in good shape it’s still a pretty nice bike.
