  1. Yes. I paid 450-550 for similar Trek-LeMond made bikes from that period. Good chance it was made in Wisconsin.

  2. Depends on why you want it. You’re probably paying extra for the collectible factor, and campy parts are going to make things a bit more difficult maintenance wise

  3. That is a lot of money for ~25 year old carbon. These Lance era US Postal bikes are desirable for people that recall era of the sport. You may be able to find something around a decade newer for a similar price.

  4. Campy shift internals from this era were made of soft cheese. The springs were made from pasta. The frames were glued together with JB weld that suffered from UV degradation. Most race bike wheels didn’t have enough spokes to survive more than one pothole. That saddle doesn’t know what blood flow means. The tires are narrower than most cracks in the road. The last owner lowered the saddle and raised the bars in attempt to ride this longer than 5 miles without wanting to quit. Hard pass.
