To get the proper shank I had to order a longer bolt and get it cut off. Fastenal had them, but they wanted a 100 minimum order. They were happy to send me to a local car repair shop that stocked various metric bolts, and the shop was able to sell me a single bolt that fit perfectly for $1.44.
