Carrying the Brompton and a Front bag around the train station (up down escalators) can be a bit much. I generally try and leave it unfolded until the last minute, but it can be hard to fold up when you are on the train in Germany (there is not a lot of free space on the ICE).
I was wondering about just using a bit of wide plastic belt/strap stuff and some of those plastic quick release clips / buckles :

just a basic loop that you could run from the little triangle to your shoulder might make it easier to manage getting on the train and moving down the carriage.
Has anyone tried something like that?
