Housing is cheap, and that piece amounts to scrap it’s so small. If you don’t have housing, find your local cool commuter type of bike shop and they probably sell it by the foot in ten different colors.
If you do decide not to replace it… which i strongly recommend because it might cause ghost shifting… try to unkink it by hand before replacing it
I’d replace if you’ve gone to the trouble of disconnecting it. But you’ll need to trim (or replace) the inner too, as you’ve no chance of passing that frayed end back through.
