Sunringle helix tr27?

So I’ve been looking for some rims for a surly ogre I’m building up. I saw that sunringle was having a sale and decided to pick these up. At the time I had (foolishly) assumed the 27 was an internal rim width but now I see that the internal width is 22mm. That seems pretty narrow, I’m not planning on ever running more than 2.5 and possibly might run 2.3 at some point.

So should I have gone with a wider rim? Has anyone here had experience with these rims?
